Ho ho ho! December has arrived, bringing holiday cheer and the hope of snowflakes (and not rain) dancing outside our windows. As our community prepares to light up trees and gather for festive celebrations, we invite you to cozy up and dive into this month's Roundup—your guide to all the happenings in Sisters this holiday season.

Before we dive into the details, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community of supporters. Despite the challenges facing the bike industry in recent years, your unwavering support has been our guiding light. We're thrilled to share that we'll be celebrating 15 years of business this May, with a big party planned during Memorial Day weekend alongside the Sisters Stampede. McKenzie Pass Update

McKenzie Pass officially closed to all users on November 1. Expect it to open back up in late spring.

🆕 We Are Officially a Santa Cruz Dealer

For those who've been with us since the early days, you'll remember Santa Cruz was one of our original bicycle brands. We took a break for a few years while they were going through some changes, now with a more refined and sought after line than ever we are extremely proud to be one of two exclusive Central Oregon Santa Cruz dealers.

Let's talk about what makes Santa Cruz special. Founded in 1993, they've been pioneers in mountain bike technology, consistently pushing the boundaries of what's possible on two wheels. Their reputation isn't just talk—they've snagged "Bike of the Year" titles and industry awards year after year. The crown jewel right now? Their EMTB lineup, particularly the Vala, which is quite possibly one of the best electric mountain bikes on the market.

But here's what really sets Santa Cruz apart: their lifetime warranty on frames, bearings, and wheels. It's a testament to their confidence in craftsmanship and commitment to riders. Just ask Ken, who just picked up his new Santa Cruz and can't stop grinning!

For us, bringing Santa Cruz back feels like welcoming an old friend. So much has changed over the years, yet the shared passion for great bikes and good times remains the same.

Click on the photo above of the Santa Cruz Vala to be directed to a video of our friend and local rider Ken Collis take a  dive into the Vala. Trust us—this is no sponsored content. Ken's enthusiasm is 100% genuine, born from pure excitement about an incredible e-mountain bike.

🔦 Product Highlight: Bivo Bottles

We’re excited to be adding Bivo Bottles to our waterbottle line up. And no, this is not just another water bottle brand…

Bivo isn't just another water bottle; it's a game-changing approach to hydration that's got cyclists talking. Born from the mind of a former NASA engineer in Vermont, these bottles are challenging everything we thought we knew about how we drink on the bike.

Why should you care? Imagine a water bottle that

  • Tastes better

  • Lasts longer

  • Keeps you safer

  • Provides an incredibly smooth drinking experience

The magic is in the design. Unlike traditional squeeze bottles, Bivo uses stainless steel and an ingenious gravity-flow system that makes drinking feel almost effortless. No more wrestling with your bottle or dealing with that plastic taste. Just a simple tilt, and water flows freely through a specially designed straw that creates a smooth air-fluid exchange.

It's the kind of innovation that makes you wonder how we've been using the same basic bottle design for so long. Curious to see (and taste) the difference? Stop by the shop soon and check out Bivo—your hydration game is about to level up!
