Trail Report

  • Cline, Maston, and Madras areas are running good! Just make sure to avoid the mud.

  • Peterson Ridge Trails (PRT) are mostly good, with a few muddy spots higher up—please ride carefully.

  • McKenzie Pass is accessible about 1000’ beyond the gate, but use caution due to unpredictable conditions. Spring is officially here, but knowing Central Oregon weather, that’s just a suggestion.

Service Queue

Service turnaround is at its best right now (3-5 business days by appointment). Remember, our previously announced price increase officially kicks in on April 1st—schedule your bike service now to avoid higher rates (no, this is not an April Fools Joke)!

To schedule a repair appointment with us please call (541) 719-1213.

Demo Bikes Are Rolling In

Our gravel bikes for the 2025 demo season have arrived and we’re starting the build process. With demo bikes, its not just a parking lot test ride, you can rent the bike for up to four days and apply the cost to any purchase of a new bike. Come on in if you want to try out a new gravel bike!

Demo Mountain bikes and E bikes are coming soon too!

Bike & Gear Sale

We still have fantastic deals on fat bikes, gravel bikes, and mountain bikes—but act fast, as prices will increase soon!

Plus, our clothing and accessory clearance is ongoing to make room for fresh spring arrivals in April.

🏥 Dirty Freehub Webinar: Keeping the Wheels Rolling - Thriving as an Aging Cyclist

Join DF for an inspiring conversation with Kim Collier, a seasoned cyclist and fitness expert who proves the best rides of your life might still lie ahead! With over 30 years in the fitness industry, Kim brings an impressive array of expertise as a USA Level 2 Cycling Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach, Restorative Exercise Specialist, and Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. Her own journey spans six decades—from childhood rides to ultra-endurance events. After back and hip issues forced a five-year break from cycling, Kim immersed herself in the science of human movement, rebuilding her strength from the ground up. Now at 65, she’s back stronger than ever and passionate about helping others avoid the “medical merry-go-round.”

Whether you’ve noticed recovery isn’t quite what it used to be, or you’re simply looking to maintain your cycling lifestyle, this candid discussion will reshape how you think about riding through the years. Discover practical strategies for working with (not against) your maturing body, from pre-ride routines to essential off-bike practices that keep you resilient. Learn to tune into your body’s signals, prevent nagging overuse injuries, and find new sources of joy in your riding journey. This webinar isn’t about slowing down—it’s about riding smarter and more sustainably. Join us to transform your approach to lifelong cycling!

🌲 Oregon Timber Trail March Updates

Upcoming Virtual Houses

Join 90-minute virtual open houses with panelists Sarah Konefal, Garrett Murphy, and Chris Wilson. They’ll cover everything from bike setup and ride prep to course navigation and adapting to changing trail conditions.

Sessions:

New Gravel Route

The OTT Gravel Route stretches 550+ miles from Lakeview to Hood River, traversing Oregon’s remote high country east of the Cascades. With 70% unpaved roads and 30% easier trails or low-traffic pavement, it’s an isolated, challenging, and breathtaking ride.

Riders will follow rocky ridges, alpine lakes, and river crossings, passing through a few small communities. Unlike the original route, this version skips Oakridge, staying east of the Cascades.

📺 Must Watch: All Across Oregon

PBS highlights Sisters, Oregon as the happiest town in the state! Produced by the Sisters Chamber and All Across Oregon, this episode features local businesses and community stories (including Blazin Saddles!).

Give it a watch to appreciate our little town on the big screen!

That’s all for the month’s Roundup! Thanks as always for being apart of our Central Oregon cycling community. With spring weather hopefully just around the bend, we're excited to see you out on the trails, at our group rides, or in the shop gearing up for another great season.

Cheers,

The Blazin Saddles Crew
